How can we help?

Short answers to the most common questions. If you don't find what you need, write to us at the address below.

Account and sign in

How do I create an account?

Mira: Habit Garden offers three sign in paths on first launch: Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or Email and password. All three create a local identity that scopes your saved progress to your account. There is no server side account. Your data stays on your device.

I can't sign in with Google.

Make sure the email you're using is connected to a regular Google account (not a Google Workspace account with third party sign in restrictions). If you still see "Access blocked," try Sign in with Apple or Email instead. If the problem persists, write to us.

How do I switch accounts?

Go to Profile, then Sign out. Your local progress is archived under your account and will restore when you sign back in. Signing in with a different account starts a fresh garden for that account.

Subscription and billing

How does the free trial work?

New users can start a 7 day free trial of Pro. No charge is taken during the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription renews at the displayed price.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app, then your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Mira: Habit Garden, then Cancel Subscription. You can also use this direct link: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. You must cancel through Apple.

I want a refund.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in with the Apple ID you used to subscribe, find the Mira: Habit Garden charge, and follow the prompts. Apple typically decides within 48 hours.

I lost Pro after reinstalling.

Open the paywall (Profile, then Subscription, or finish onboarding) and tap Restore. Your Pro status will sync back from Apple. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID that originally purchased.

Your data

Where is my data stored?

Almost everything (your habits, completions, check ins, levels, garden state) lives on your phone. The only data that leaves your device is when you message Mira, and even then it isn't logged on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

How do I delete all my data?

Profile, then Clear all local data. This immediately deletes your habits, completions, levels, XP, and chat history from the device. To also revoke the identity that the app uses to scope your account, sign out first.

Will I lose my progress if I uninstall?

Yes. Mira: Habit Garden is local first. Uninstalling removes everything stored on the device. There is currently no cloud backup. Reinstalling and signing in with the same account gives you a fresh garden, not the old one.

If you want to keep your progress, don't uninstall. Just sign out. Your account's archive remains on the device and restores when you sign back in.

Using the app

What is the Becoming Score?

A soft number from 0 to 100 that reflects how close you already are to the version of yourself you described in onboarding. It is calibrated, not a verdict. New users land between 8 and 30. It grows over time as you keep promises and care for all six roots.

Why isn't my garden growing?

The garden advances by the lowest root, not the average. If five of your roots are strong but one is barely watered, the garden stays where the lowest one is. Plant a promise that strengthens that root and the whole garden moves forward.

What is a "comeback"?

When you've missed a few days and return, Mira honors that as a comeback. Self-trust gets a small boost and the system is gentler with you for a while. There is no streak to break.

Mira gave me a strange answer.

Mira is built on a large language model. She has a tuned persona for warmth and safety, but the model can occasionally produce text that is off tone or unhelpful. Don't take her words as medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. If you ever tell Mira about thoughts of self harm, she will surface a crisis resources screen.
